I’ve been feeling behind on my posts here lately, and it’s unintentional, but sometimes, as you know, life just gets in the way. In the next few weeks here, I’m hoping to play some catch up and share the rest of the beautiful moments, adventures, outfits, and fun times that have happened over the last few months.

You may remember my post back from early summer at the Belvedere wedding with my sparkling dress and write up of the amazing nuptials. The night was so gorgeous, I just had to go back and share some of my favorites from the event. Not only did the couple look stunning, but they seriously know how to have a good time, and the dance floor was ROCKIN’ to a Springsteen cover band all night long. Pretty sure the staff was trying to flick on the lights to give us the boot for at least a half hour before our “concert” officially ended.

Hope you enjoy these pics and hope Melissa + Patrick have been enjoying these last few months as newlyweds!!!

Happy Monday and hope you are all off to a great start to the week!

XO,

Gina

Excited to share photos from the beautiful wedding of E + M! Such a gorgeous day up in Ithaca, NY. It was our first trip away from the kiddos (thanks to my mom!) and it was such a wonderful weekend! E + M really made everyone feel SO welcome the entire weekend starting out with a Southern style lakeside BBQ on Friday night, the beautiful outdoor/indoor wedding on Saturday, and ending with a hotel brunch on Sunday.

Rather than tapping silverware on wine glasses to achieve a newlywed smooch, they requested tables jump up and sing songs with the word “love” in it to get the kiss! This could not have been more perfect for our group of friends attending the wedding (sidenote – we kind of love karaoke), and I think maybe we got a little too into it haha. You could truly see the personalities and the sense of humor of the newlyweds shine through in each detail of the wedding and more importantly you could see how much love they have for each other.

Congratulations E + M! Love you and hope you are enjoying the married life!

I just got back to New York from my recent Beachbody Coach Summit trip to Nashville! WOW!!! It was an amazing experience and only reaffirms why I am so happy to be involved with such an incredible company and group of people who changes lives each and every day. Can’t wait to share more on the blog from my trip!

That being said, it was so nice to snuggle all my boys after being gone for 5 days!

Hope you are all having a great week!

Gina

Woweee!  I am so excited to finally share these photos from my cousin’s wedding!  I can’t believe they have already been married for over a month.  This couple couldn’t be more perfect for each other.  Melissa and John are two of the sweetest, kindest people I know, and they would do anything for anybody.  I am so happy they found each other and that we were lucky enough to be included in their celebration.  Their ceremony was held at their local parish in the Bronx, where my cousin Melissa is a teacher.  All of her students were in attendance which was adorable.  The reception took place at The Venetian in New Jersey, and it was the most breathtaking venue I have ever seen.  Melissa and John really thought of everything, and every detail was planned out right down to the personalized champagne glasses for Grandma and Grandpa.  This wedding was certainly the kind that you only dream of in fairytales.

Not only was it a dream-like wedding, it was also a party!  The music was pumping all night long, the guests were given light sabers, and the venue boasted the largest dance floor I have ever laid eyes on.  The Viennese dessert table was introduced with a fire show, and the bridal party made their entrance down a long flight of elegant stairs.  The WOW factor was through the roof, and the night just kept getting better and better as it went along.

Congratulations Melissa & John!  I wish you and wonderful life together full of happiness and love!

XO,

Gina

Chesapeake Bay Beach Love

IMG_9415_Layers_v1

Let me set the scene.  It was a beautiful sunny day in Annapolis.  We headed over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge by shuttle for a lovely church ceremony, followed by a gorgeous reception on the water at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club.  We watched Kurt and Tiffany say their long-awaited “I do’s” and the love was radiating between the two of them all day and night long.

I have known Kurt since college.  He was roommates with my high school friend Mike at St. Joseph’s University in Philly, and my cousin Marisa and I took many of those two hour trips throughout our college years up from the University of Maryland to visit them as well as another one of our besties at UPenn.  We really got to know all of the St. Joe’s guys, but especially Kurt as he and Mike stayed roommates and best friends for years to come.  We spent many crazy summers in Dewey Beach fist pumping, dancing to techno, screaming Taylor Swift at the tops of our lungs and taking a gazillion photos.  We also spent many fun nights hanging out in Baltimore in the off season for all different kinds of events or just random weekend nights.  I remember when Kurt first met Tiffany, and her first trip to Dewey Beach.  I think I may actually have it on video.  She seemed a little nervous (because let’s be honest, my friends are crazy), but she was sweet as could be and fit right in with the gang.  I knew she would be sticking around for the long haul.

Kurt and Tiffany have such a special relationship that you would have to be blind to not notice.  I hope the photos below capture the beautiful and awesome wedding day that June 29th was.  They are a wonderful couple and I am happy to call them my friends.  Congratulations Kurt and Tiff, and I I wish you both a lifetime of happiness together!

Hope you enjoyed the photos from this magical day.  Doesn’t Tiff just look stunning in this last photo?

This week has been a good one…been busy with multiple errands, catching up with blogging and e-mails, and enjoying a little peace and quiet around the house.  I have a doc appointment for Little Monkey today for our 7 month checkup.  I still cannot believe we are almost there!  Things have been piling in for the nursery…he is already spoiled thanks to my family and friends.  We are getting super excited for his arrival, and I’m pretty sure the “nesting” bug is going to hit me soon.

Hope you all are having a great week so far!

XO,

Gina

Winter Wedding Wonderland

You saw the “Milk & Cookie” themed bridal shower.  You saw the Atlantic City Bachelorette.  And now it’s time for the main event.  Milk and Cookie finally get married!!!  Let me set the scene.  We awoke on a crisp Saturday morning before the sun came up, and shortly after got a light dusting of snow.  The bridal suite overlooked Camden Yards in Baltimore, which was a gorgeous view.  We got ready, took tons of photos, and headed off to the church in Elkridge, Maryland.  After the wonderful ceremony complete with the Arch of Swords military send off, we headed back to Baltimore to a lovely little venue called the Belvedere.  The ballroom was stunning and so was the bride.  The dance floor was packed and the photo booth was hysterical.  The bridesmaids even had a little special dance prepared for the guests to enjoy.  I was honored to be a bridesmaid in my cousin’s wedding, and this was definitely one for the books!  I had such a great time with all my family, and it was the perfect end to 2012.  Congratulations Alex & Seamus!  XOXO.
