Happy Holidays to all!!! We had a lovely Christmas and Chanukah celebration with all of our family in Maryland. We spent the last week getting in some quality time with family and friends, shopping for Christmas, preparing for Santa and more. We had 4 crazy rounds of presents, Santa sent us “reindeer dust” and my children are officially spoiled. We are very lucky to have such wonderful people in our lives who treat them so well.

I scored this steal of a dress while shopping with mom on our annual Christmas shopping/dinner night out! She wanted to wrap it and put it under the tree, but I just had to wear it for our Christmas Eve Italian Seven Fishes celebration.

We are here for another week in Maryland through the New Year. The hubby and I are lucky to be able to enjoy some time off, but also work from anywhere…so we can mix in working with family time, bowling, dinners out, and ringing in the new year.

A big part of what I’m working on this week is my health + fitness challenge group which is gearing up to start fresh in January with an INCREDIBLE new all access on demand package and support for an entire year. Flower Child

I’m not usually one for a wide leg pant, but I could not resist this vibrant floral pair from Forever 21. If you are looking for a pair of pants as comfortable as pajamas but acceptable to wear outside of the house, then these are definitely the pants for you! I wore these last weekend on a long walk to the Brooklyn Botanical Garden, and they were both flowy and light. I was clearly excited that spring had arrived as you can see from the multitude of florals in my attire. We had a great time exploring and seeing the new buds coming up showing the first signs of the season. I am definitely planning on going back here again toward the end of the month when things are in full bloom. I took a few more photos of our trip to the botanical gardens, so stay tuned next week!

Sweet November

So, when I had to remove my white blazer the other day, it was pretty chilly out, and I had nothing left but short sleeves. In my attempt to keep warm, we stumbled into a little boutique in Park Slope, Brooklyn called Habit. It was my first time in the store, and I was quite delighted! It was filled with lots of stylish clothing, jewelry, and great accessories at prices that don’t break the bank. I found this sweater wrap to keep me warm and decided to throw in this hat while I was at it. I’m sure they will both get plenty of wear this season and next.

I am just about finished packing for our trip to Florida! Looking forward to a relaxing trip with my parents and grandmother at her condo in St. Pete Beach. We leave at the crack of dawn tomorrow and will be gone through Monday of next week, so you probably won’t be hearing much from me until we get back. Lately I’ve been…

reading Catching up on my Marie Claire reading. The February & March issues are featuring so many spring trends that have me itching for warmer weather.

writing A Birthday card for the hubby. His Birthday is on Tuesday, but we are celebrating this weekend.

listening Swedish House Mafia all day today. Gotta pump myself up for the concert tonight at Madison Square Garden. Can’t believe this is their last tour. Sad face. I scored tix to start off the hubby’s b-day celebration. I’ll leave you with one of my favs: Don’t You Worry Child ft. John Martin

thinking About how much fun this concert is going to be. It’s consuming my mind today!

wishing That we hadn’t been woken up at 4am last night with the doorbell ringing from a cab driver that got stiffed by my neighbor. I mean, really?

hoping For positivity and strength to surround my Uncle and help him fight off the sickness he has been faced with at this point in his life. I also hope that my Mom can find equal strength since she has been his rock during this time.

I don’t know about you, but I am OVER this cold weather! All the talk of snow and chill has me jonesin’ for spring. I couldn’t help but scour the online shopping world for some of my favorite on-trend pieces that I cannot wait to get my hands on. If only I could wear them right now! Although I tend to wear a ton of black in the winter time, I am very excited to sport some color this spring! This little collection above makes me happy, because it reminds me that spring is just around the corner.
